This morning I finished off all my work for University of Toronto’s “Learn To Program” course. It wasn’t as useful as other MOOCs that I’ve taken in the past…probably because of the other MOOCs I’ve taken in the past. At this point, the only new ground for me was using Python 3 syntax instead of 2.6, which is what I was familiar with from various Udacity courses.
It makes me so happy to have these resources available for free online. From the look of things, the two year community college IT program that I’m enrolled in isn’t going to be touching on Python at all, so I’m very grateful for the help in preemptively patching what I consider to be some pretty glaring holes in my official curriculum.
